First week with a Mac
ok.. first 3 days with a Mac
I purchased a Mac Book Pro last week, I figure it was time I got to know the Mac OS and why not jump in with a $3000 laptop. To be fair I upgraded the ram and the price includes video editing software upgrades.

So far it’s as I expected, out of the box the Mac ran well. Figuring out the file system took a bit of time, not that it’s hard to understand its just different from what I know. I find myself over thinking almost everything I do.
Navigation is killing me, I have not been using a mouse and the no right click is taking some getting use to.. Remember is only day 2.5 or something like that. I keep double clicking the top bar on every widow trying to Maximize or Cascade it.. but with the Mac it minimizes it.. That seems to be something I do often and its driving me a little nuts breaking the habit. I’m also not use to using a laptop keyboard so typing seems to take forever..
I guess these are all things that I will get accustom to, but for now it’s the learning curve that I was expecting. I’ll keep you updated.
