More Disk Golf.. Airfare and Cripps

Its seem to be all we are doing now, I think this week we have played more then 72 holes.. I’m glad I don’t keep a running total of strokes for the year, but I’m happy to say I finished last night in second place only 3 over par. We are still playing from the short tees, but you have to start back somewhere.

If your thinking of flying in Canada, looks like another new airline is opening with some great deals. They say you can fly coast to cost for $30 http://www.flysunwing.com although I was looking at a flight to London Ontario and the taxes were $150 on to of the fare, still not a bad price.

Congrats Steve and Lucy and welcome Leo, check out some more photos of this good lookin kid at http://community.webshots.com/album/551163267kkQUKA

Sunny days and back at work

The title should say it all..

I was walking by the base of Whistler today realizing that I need to find a way to make some more cash. I was thinking how much more I would enjoy the season if I had a bike.. but the best deal I have found is the $2040 for a Kona Stinky (that’s the staff rate).

I had a meeting and after decided to check out the new Behind the Grind located next to the Gondola next to Whistler Kids. What a great patio.. If I only had a laptop I could spend some quality time outside during the day (their food was great as well.. with great prices!!).. Most other people have paperwork that they can take outside.. but when your job is 99% computer related.. that 1% is going to meetings.. you don’t get to see the outside world. But allowing employees to access the network from outside does not fit in with the company vision.. So I guess I could buy a laptop and just do some Paperwork (and move my files the old fashioned way by disk) that’s only another $2000 for a computer that would allow me to get some work done outside..

So that’s my wish list for now.. ill get it to what I need to make more quality videos closer to winter.. but for now.. if you would like to help me get a bike and laptop click on my pay pal button

.. their are a lot of people coming to this site.. so feel free to only give a dollar.. or nothing.. oh wait..

ill start to charge people for websites that I build, video’s that I make.. That will be something new,

or get an 'Don't blame me, I Voted Brew'or 'I gave Brew money and all I got was this stupid shirt…' T-shirt here!! http://www.cafepress.com/mikebrew

although I do like the idea of begging on the internet!!

And in Terry fashion.. here is a great link http://www.askaninja.com/ have fun..

Rest is for Suckers

Well, I went out on Friday. It was an old roommate Andrew Mitchell’s birthday, he wanted to play some disk-golf and watch movies later that night. The weather sucked and I was a super tired from no sleep the night before so I skipped the frolf and took a nap.

Andrew has a few friends over and we spent most of the evening catching up over a few brown pops. We checked out the best of Will Farrell but only made it though one disk before the beer was making us all pass out.

We got our Disk Golf fix in the next day, the weather was much better.. Raj, Myers and I all hit the new and improved Whistler course. It’s the cheapest activity to do in Whistler, all you need is a $17 disk and you get hours of entertainment. Unless you're like Myers, borrow Terry’s disk and throw it in a tree, nothing like a $17 round and nothing to show for it..

I have a feeling we will be back on the disk golf bandwagon again, Mark was talking about again today..

Ok since I started this post we have gone back for another round. The new course is better then I remember, although for good reason. The course has changed drastically, most of the old holes have been cut in half.. It really makes them playable.
